Join the KABA-DC Team as a Law School Representative! ⚖️🏛️
As we kick off a busy 2026-2027 term, the Korean American Bar Association of Washington, DC (KABA-DC) is looking for proactive and dedicated student leaders to serve as Event Committee Members.
This is a unique opportunity to step beyond the law school campus and take an active role in the core leadership activities of the DC professional legal community. Rather than acting solely as a campus liaison, you will be integrated into our planning committees to help drive the success of our most significant annual programs.
Core Responsibilities:
- Active Event Support: Serve as a key member of the planning committee for our major "tentpole" events, providing direct logistical and operational support.
- Liaison Duties: Serve as the primary point of contact between KABA-DC and your law school to develop and facilitate KABA-DC's programs supporting law students.
- Engagement Tracking: Promote KABA-DC programs to the broader student community and encourage new memberships.
- Leadership Opportunities : Attend quarterly officer meetings and contribute to the strategic execution of KABA-DC goals.
To Apply: This position requires an active, due-paying student membership ($20 per year). If you're interested in getting more involved as a student representative, please submit a brief Statement of Interest (1-2 paragraphs) to kabadc2009@gmail.com by Thursday, February 12, 2026.
Know someone who would be a great fit? If you know a fellow student who is organized, reliable, and looking to get more involved in the DC legal community, please feel free to forward this invitation to them or let us know.
We look forward to hearing from you!
